    Coach’s radio show

And even with all those guys the vastly more talented defense carried us until November. Here’s the points allowed through October: 14 16 20 7 0 7 17 24 Even the hated Patenaude would’ve won at least 6 during that stretch.

Paul Finebaum Throwing GT under bus

    They’ll lose at least 5.

    The future of GT football

Because Lewis lost the team. Both those rosters had more talent than this one.

Paul Finebaum Throwing GT under bus

Clemson will not play a team that finishes the year ranked until the playoff. The ACC is pathetic and we are part of the problem.

    GT needed a change

I’m not going to defend Gailey because I was one of the loudest detractors of his, but outside of what CGC will face no one faced a stronger stretch of Ugag teams. If he got to face decline Mark Richt instead of peak Mark Richt who knows what his record would’ve been?

Those must have all been pre-1990 because I haven’t seen any.

Coach Collins has lost to a FCS school two straight years

He lost two FCS teams on two separate occasions as Navy’s coach.

    GT needed a change

The easy ACC thing is BS. We had a higher percentage of ACC teams ranked during GOLs reign than any subsequent coach. If GOL stayed he’d absolutely have won championships or if he left a year earlier and Fridge took over the same thing.

    O-Line Carnage

That wasn’t my point. Mine was this current iteration of our offense is largely devoid of talent.

    O-Line Carnage

We should have a roster where we could tell a team like The Citadel what is coming and still blow them off the ball.

    O-Line Carnage

He was leaving anyway. Read the posts directly above yours. He’s not on the team so he’s irrelevant for 2019. This OL that Collins inherited is not good. You cannot scheme around OL problems.

    O-Line Carnage

I’m obviously talking about the current roster.

    O-Line Carnage

Rankin has as many as our current offense. Williams and Howard have as many individually as our current OL. There’s a reason we are flipping the roster at this position. Just like there is a reason we are bringing in four WR. Gonna be a lot of freshman playing in 2019.

    GT needed a change

This is what we were promised in 2008. What ended up happening is we ran Navy offense with Navy quality players. It was a self-fulfilling prophecy. We needed to use the offense to make up for a talent void (that didn’t exist) and all it did was create an actual talent void.

    The future of GT football

We would have held them to 0? I’m assuming you were drunk. It would’ve probably looked like Air Force in the bowl game a 14-7 loss.

    The future of GT football

Not wrong at all. This is the least talented GT team I’ve seen since I started following. It’s barely debatable with 2015. The cupboard is bare. I have a feeling you aren’t old enough to have seen real talent at Tech.

    The future of GT football

2015 - Hard maybe. - JT is better than any QB on this roster, - Marcus Marshall is better than any RB at the moment - Jeune would be the best WR on this team 2002 - Not even close. What Gailey did with this team is a crime. - As poor as Suggs performed it was still light years beyond what we...

    The future of GT football

Nesbitt, Dwyer, and Jones were true freshman in 2007. Nesbitt was big, fast and powerful. He covered up offensive issues by sheer force. Dwyer had 82 carries for 436 yards and 9 touchdowns. Jones redshirted. He had offers from Clemson, Duke, Maryland, Indiana, not just ECU. Bebe was a R-FR...

Coach Collins has lost to a FCS school two straight years

Honestly the loss to Nova last year is worse than the loss to The Citadel this year.

    The future of GT football

Tech’s offensive line, QBs, and most of the WR are FCS quality. Look at the offer lists. Patenaude whipped FCS defenses with Coastal’s talent.
