I get that, and imo we should shoot gaps. And I understand we did enough to win, but look at when we played good offenses, we have had a lot scored on us, and we cant expect to consistantly win those type of games getting pushed around at the los and history has shown we don't always win those close games that are high scoring. I want to be a consistent 9 to 10 regular season win team, and most years our offense is good enough to give us that, so something needs to change on our D. People say well we did enough to win and it's true but what about the times they didn't? We are awful on 3rd down, turnover ratio, ypp, ppd. These are all things that will eventually cause you to lose games is the only point I'm trying to make, but some people on here want to ignore these facts and I guess are pleased with the average 7 or 8 win seasons. Take the Pitt game, they scored over and over and over again on us, with a better D we shouldn't have even been in the position for our offense to go for it on that 4th down. The only difference in the Pitt game and UGA game was UGA wasnt as good offensively, if it would have been Pitt we were playing, and with the way the D got pushed around Pitt probably would have scored more.
