You could be right. I don't know the Tech team that well being in South Florida. Miami is thin at WR and RB so their depth is not where they want it, although the runners they do have are good. Walton was considered the best running back in the ACC until he got hurt. And Homer is averaging 8+ yards a carry. They do have excellent RB recruits committed so they will be much better next year. As for the QBs, I think each is better for their own offense. Certainly Rozier is not a running QB, although he can run enough for a drop back passer. And I'm not sure how well Marshall would be as a dropback passer in Miami's style of offense.
I think you are right on the money on turnovers. I think TOs are critical to any team playing Tech. If Tech can play a clean game, they are much harder to beat. So far this year, Miami's special teams have been anything but special. They have potential, but have been so-so. The other advantage Tech has is having a bye week. UM is beat up pretty good from the FSU game.
