When I saw his HS tape, I saw DL (SDE) in his future. Especially in the spread era. Would've been a top notch MLB in the 80s and early 90s, but football has changed and the assignments are different.
Good luck to him in the future.
When 70% of the offenses are option (including ours!)....defense goes out the window.
Clemson and Bama to a certain extent have the guys who are 6-3 250 and run like Road Runner and can keep up. A majority can't.
Quite different from the I-formation days.....
I can dig it, but it would ruin conference networks. I doubt ESPN would willingly destroy 2 properties (SEC and ACC networks) and the Big 10 wants their money maker with FOX. Reduced footprint would mean the conference networks wouldn't be as valuable for carriage rights.
The classroom is probably the least of the worries. Parties, study groups, and dorms are going to be a mess for this. See testing results for a large number of teams that have come back to campus.
I think the best part was Pnode didn't out-think himself too much. We were having success with the 2 back zone reads and the 1 back under center. While this might not be where CCG wants to be in the future, it helps winning today.
And thank God that Miami doesn't have a below average kicker...
He got brought on when we were shifting back to a 3-4 to be an OLB. I think he's played at DE for us this year.
I feel for the kids who get caught in a transition like this. Cortez Alston was a similar situation (4-3 DE but didn't have a position in the 3-4).
Jordan seems like a good kid with...
I get the feeling when we hired Roof that CGC at least contacted us. There were some comments "I remember him, not sure whether he remembers me" that kind of insinuates it.
Based on the description, its probably the same material that's in the Game Mode shirts and polos, which won't be waterproof at all. It will be thicker than the quarter zips that were sold last year.
EDIT: Plain weave on the quarter zip vs double weave on the shirt and polo...so will likely...
Either these guys just looked at the standings in each sport, or they have no clue what they're getting into.
Just because DRad and Bobinski were terrible fundraisers, doesn't mean there isn't money to be made. I think we've seen that through TStan getting the pockets a little looser.
I'm...
Thanks for the breakdown. Looked like a few missed stunts too on the broken plays.
I'm sort of wondering whether we should move one of our safeties to LB. It seems like their eyes and feet get into better position than quite a few of the LBs. I'd love to see KO at LB, but I think he wants to...
My issue is the rules changed post Tate Martell because of the blowback they got. And it was retroactively implemented with people who were already in the portal or already transferred when the rule changed.
It also appears that Michigan was getting a lot of blowback from the media and other...
Will be interested to see whether we focus on matchups at CB or whether we have field/boundary corners. And all their receivers are pretty top notch with high level arm talent throwing to them. I'm also interested to see Walton with a year under his belt. I think he was a steal last year.
I get...
We've got our first commit from an APS school since Gailey and have had 3 high level transfers from the 404 already.
There's a lot of hometown hero talk going on with the local recruits and its an easier sell right now. I'm still in the show me phase, but I'm pretty sure CGC is being who he is...
Interesting 2 Punters and Kickers ATL.
Also interesting that we've got 10 ATL OL. I hope that's a good sign.
Quite a few walkons (Lagod, Leonard, Blancato, Brooks, and a few of the specialists).
Another log in the Harbaugh is a POS.....
