Sounds like road rage to me. LOL

You know I'm messing with you. I actually didn't know that your problems were due to a wreck. I'm sorry for your problems, no matter what the cause.

I know :) Auto accident on 12/18, I was very very lucky despite the injuries I suffered. Compound, comminuted fractures to the left femur and right humerus. Pretty long healing process but I will heal!

Hopefully you're ready for the fall. Sitting in the handicap section kind of blows, hand to do it for half of 2016 due to a broken tibia and torn meniscus.

I sure wish the spring game was on Saturday afternoon instead of Friday night. Night games don’t work well for families with young children. Plus, for many out-of-towers within 250-300 miles, to drive in for Tech’s game on Friday night at 7pm would require missing work on Friday and staying the night in Atlanta. A Saturday afternoon game, on the other hand, (like the dwags’ G-Day game) would allow those same out-of-towners to make it a day-trip, without missing work, and to get back home before it got too late.

Too bad, because it could have been a good way to energize more Tech football fans outside the ATL metro area and a good experience likely would have improved fall ticket sales, too.

Georgia Tech Athletic Association - Clear Bag Policy

To provide a safer environment for the public and significantly expedite fan entry into Georgia Tech Athletic Association facilities, the GTAA will implement a policy beginning with the 2018-2019 academic year that limits the size and type of bags that may be brought into stadiums/arenas. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a 4.5" x 6.5" clutch bag, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, grocery bags, cinch bags, non-approved chair backs and seat cushions**, luggage of any kind, computer bags and camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size.

Fans will be able to carry the following style and size bag at stadium plaza areas, stadium gates, or when approaching queue lines of fans awaiting entry into the stadium:
  • Tote bags that are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar), AND/OR
  • Small clutch bags with or without a handle or strap, no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" (approximately the size of a hand), can be taken into the stadium along with one of the clear plastic bag options
For the 2018 football season, GTAA will provide a complimentary bag check on the exterior of Bobby Dodd Stadium for those who do not comply with stadium policy and are not in proximity to their vehicle.

*An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate by respective gate supervisor.

**Non-approved chair backs/seat cushions include large traditional seat cushions that have pockets, zippers, compartments, or covers. Please see your respective gate supervisor to have your seat cushion examined.
