The sad thing is that we were in decent position all day but failed to finish the play. We were in position to make tackles for losses or knock balls away or have our safeties clean up whiffs by our dB’s only to whiff themselves. On and on and on.
Reason for this is that we had Geoff Collins as head coach for 3.5 years.

Pyron looks like the real deal to me. He threw the ball very well, and he exhibited plenty of poise for his first college game.
Played well on 1st and 2nd down, lousy on 3rd.
As much as I enjoyed DMo, is he really this super important hire? Bama and UGA don’t have DMo, and they seem to be doing ok.
74 the freshman rt played in second half
Tackling regressed badly and our DBs have trouble winning contested balls. Bad D strategy having DEs cover running backs on pass plays. D plays good most of the time but at times looks as bad as ever. We do get improved pressure but cannot close the deal with sacks or avoid penalties when do get a critical stop.. Talent difference really on display in this game. But overall our play not as embarrassing like under CGC.
What do you expect when the offense hasn’t produced a drive over 4 mins in two games and had 31 yards of offense at halftime. We had more offensive penalty yards going into the 3rd quarter than total offense.
No he's not super important. This is just pining for a guy that was integral to a never say die culture at Tech across multiple HCs that disappeared when Collins came in and ran him off.
Lets see how we do the last few games
He played in the first half too fwiw, and he was at LT. Jordan was at RT. Seemed to hold his own. There was one play where they had us outnumbered on his side but it’s not like he wiffed
Right? Any 3 of them are winnable IMO.
