Idc. I want CPJ out before TStan says We're done.
John Grass of Jacksonville State would be good also and so would Mike Houston of James MadisonScott Satterfield would be my guy or Neal Brown, but it all depends on if CPJ retires.
We are also predicted by two other sources to play in the Belk. For the hell of it, we're predicted to play in the Military Bowl against Temple.
CPJ is not getting fired after a 7 win season given the run towards the end of the season.
I love CPJ but same here. More than anything I want a change of pace. I’m calling for Josh Heuple.Man days like today, when we get our butts kicked, I am ready for a new coach
And here we go with the get rid of CPJ. He is the reason we turned the season around. He needs to get a better Qb and some D-line, the latter will be harder because of academics. Bottom line.
Super excited for that Military Bowl against Temple. Really great opportunity to raise the profile of our program with potential recruits so we can nab some 5* and challenge UGA.
I hope he retires that would be the best thing right now i do believeAnd here we go with the get rid of CPJ. He is the reason we turned the season around. He needs to get a better Qb and some D-line, the latter will be harder because of academics. Bottom line.
I think you mean LB’s they were WAY worse than the DL this year. And here we go with the get rid of CPJ. He is the reason we turned the season around. He needs to get a better Qb and some D-line, the latter will be harder because of academics. Bottom line.

You think we could get Heupel? I don't. With their academics, he can recruit almost as good of a players to UCF, play an easier schedule, and bide his time until a bigger offer comes along.I love CPJ but same here. More than anything I want a change of pace. I’m calling for Josh Heuple.
Music City Bowl against 6-6 Tennessee would be nice alsoTemple will get destroyed.
It's really not hard to look at the college football landscape and see who are the good coaches though. We know the candidates and don't need to be an AD to guess who is a good fit. The problem is that we aren't in a situation to hire a good fit unless the big boosters (who have way more influence than me) are willing to pay up. Historically, they have shown that they aren't. That's fine, it's their money. We're not the AD. It's not our job to find a guy who will work. But it's pretty easy to see that Johnson isn't moving this program forward. Pretty much any change will at least give us hope which we don't have now.
The issue is that neither coach is going to work for what we can offer and other programs will pursue them. Satterfield would be smart to take the UNC job (and likely will) and Brown is going to have much better options available than a rebuild at cash-poor GT. I would agree that either would be a positive step forward for our program, but I don't see it happening. Mendenhall and Fuente made similar jumps as these coaches to the ACC and get paid much more than CPJ ($3.4+ MM). I'd be happy to admit I'm wrong if either happens though.Scott Satterfield would be my guy or Neal Brown, but it all depends on if CPJ retires.
