Besides that, I think our uniforms have a "classic" look that appeals to me. Thank goodness we don't have Oregon-type uniforms. I honestly can't watch them play on TV because of the chartreuse, green, and chrome. Because of the Ducks, I'm in the "anybody but Nike" camp.

Bland that has a lot of tradition and hasn't changed really for years and years means more, and I have to say the "faded" gold is more bland that deep red or crimson. With that said, I hate red.

We need to bring back the old gold. Nuff said

FWIW, since PJ has been at GT, my favorite look was the 2008 mustard yellow. At least it was unique, and didn't look like a JV Notre Dame (which I think sometimes is the case)

Yes, I agree, but I think we can get back to old gold without "mustarding it up". :) Old gold with navy or black stripes on the shirt sleeves would be awesome. And, if we wanted to use old gold for the numerals, it would show up well enough that we could do it.

Well, it worked for a lot of years. I do like it better than "Vegas" gold, but to each his own. :)

To me, it is unique and would provide for us a significantly different look and traditional look. I guess I don't like sharing the same basic color (faded gold) with so many other teams.

It is either stay with what we have, choose a new color altogether, or use the original "old gold" school color. And, I am o.k. with others having different opinions, including "meh".

You kidding? After we sign with Nike/Adidas/Under Armour, people will complain about the designs and color schemes and wish we would have signed with whatever apparel companies we passed on. This will go on. Forever.

You are depressing me. Maybe I can handle that so long as there aren't threads in the future like " Ten reasons we should have stayed with Russell" "Russell always got our shade of gold right" or "Why leaving Russell hurt our recruiting".

BTW I spoke with CPJ today and he said he is starting JJ because he is the future of the program and has the best smile of the four. (maybe I can hijack this thread)
