Dr Birx spoke extensively in a CNN documentary on Covid. She contended that we could have dramatically limited/avoided our deaths in the huge spike late last year. How? We didn’t listen to them with respect to mitigation efforts.

This type of CYA revisionist history is pathetic. There were states like California who who were under stay at home - shutdown orders yet they had the worse numbers in the country. They in fact did exactly what Birx says would have helped. These people are despicable.

I watched a little bit more of it. It’s almost like she’s saying we should have shut down as a country from April until around now when the vaccine is out. These people are a joke.

So sad. What if you’ve had Covid so you also have antibodies? What do you show them - a positive antibody test? This stuff is bordering on ridiculous. How often do you need to get a vaccine - we don’t know how long they are good for yet. Silly. You can go in a store without a mask but not a vaccine? LOL.

How can anyone require you to inject something into your body that hasn't been approved by the FDA?

Florida’s getting hammered again. We just can’t keep those already infected from vacationing down here. My work hadn’t had a positive case in nearly a month, got 3 in last 4 days Now.

New York and New Jersey have the highest per capita cases on the country right now, so hoards of people are hitting Florida for the summer again. Texas has now been almost a mont since they were criticized for dropping mask mandates and everything yet their cases continue to drop. Same nonsense over and over in the media and by the CDC.

@bwelbo We were doing good but Miami & Broward are spiking again, Orlando’s not doing good either lately. There’s some many family members down there, plus business relationships it’s hard to keep them from impacting your area completely.

Just keep one thing in mind...if we ever go to single payer health care systems, it is folks like the CDC who will be managing EVERYTHING in medicine.
