2 reasons.Why do a lot of folks get a flu shot every year then? The medical community even advertises such.
1. It is not as simple as "The Flu" It is constantly changing and your body needs to be exposed to the new versions. Also if you can have a partial response to a new variant because it was similar to an older version, then it could be the different between just getting sick or death. A "Flu Shot" actually has many variants in it each year
2. The old style traditional vaccines have a much lower efficacy than the new rDNA ones. So getting a second exposure to it greatly strengthens your bodies future immune response should you get it
