Key deserves plenty of blame for last years debacle as well. It’s not all on Coach Pat. Maybe not having all 5 star players with 5 star backups was a difficult transition for him.

UNC is averaging over 500 yards per game...that is pretty impressive. We are 5th (I think I am reading this right) in total yards, but tied for 12th in points. Therein lies the problem an offense that is not efficient due to turnovers. Fix that and a lot of things will be better. We are averaging 74 plays a game that is a lot. Much to my surprise we are not in last place in turnovers but not that far either from Duke who is last. Clemson, Virginia Tech, and Notre Dame are all averaging over 40 points a game and Carolina is not that far off. What we have here every Saturday is a track meet masquerading as a football game.

Until Friday night, that has been the problem --- good yards but few points on the board. Let's hope that whatever DP did Friday night, and in preparing for Friday night, he continues to do. I had no use for the man at all until Friday night game. Now I have a lot of hope.

I doubt CDP has been calling interception and fumbling plays. Most of the turnovers are directly related to inexperience. We have started 3 and sometimes 4 true freshmen on offense. When we cut out the turnovers we will score more points. It is extremely obvious some of you have an agenda.

Yeah, I’m not sure the concept that guys can learn fast if taught well is all that crazy. Again, Nebraska went from a triple option to a west coast offense and ran it with a 3 star guy recruited to play in an option offense. Their two most recent recruiting classes were ranked 39th and 41st. They managed to actually improve on offense having several 400+ and 500+ yard games and averaging more points per game than they did the year before. How did they accomplish such an impossible feat? They weren’t a great team by any means but they had no problem with their monumental transition on offense.
