Always seemed like playing VPI during the CPJ era we'd get called for a chop block really early in the game I guess to placate Beamer, and then they felt like they had checked that box.
That's the thing about NYC. Being on the streets after dark and after midnight feels noticeably safe, because other pedestrians are out with you. No one's waiting in the shadows waiting to jump out at you. (Not saying you're saying this. Just commenting.)
All of these people pissing their pants...
Maybe find a different hobby, dude.
This stuff is for entertainment purposes only when you boil it all down.
What's the point of letting yourself be this miserable over kids playing football?
Technically, we've played uva for 3 years straight this year since we didn't play in 2020.
If you want to put the asterisk there, and throw out 2020 as an anomaly, then we've played for 40 years straight (no 2020) since 1982.
Played a handful of times before '82.
Clemson every year since 1983...
I know. It's why I feel stupid complaining about it. It's a total old man complaint.
I'm 42. So I get that I'm old compared to the youngs, but I'm not THAT damn ancient.
I enjoy loud music. What's going on at Bobby Dodd is just ear splitting, brain drilling torture.
Exactly. I do think it was also too loud in general, but a big problem was the speakers are very "spikey" for lack of a better term.
If they're going to attempt those volumes, then they need a better sound system. It would actually be more tolerable at the same volume.
The weirdest part about all of that was that he played football at one of the Kansas schools.
Remember when people hoped that fact would mean that he would "get it"?
