Technically, we've played uva for 3 years straight this year since we didn't play in 2020. If you want to put the asterisk there, and throw out 2020 as an anomaly, then we've played for 40 years straight (no 2020) since 1982. Played a handful of times before '82. Clemson every year since 1983...

Exactly. I do think it was also too loud in general, but a big problem was the speakers are very "spikey" for lack of a better term. If they're going to attempt those volumes, then they need a better sound system. It would actually be more tolerable at the same volume.
