The talent Chan had was better than 7 wins. The answer is yes we can recruit and get beyond 7 wins but not if anyone in charge has the attitude you evidently do.
Equating Tech football with Vandy, Duke, Army and Navy may be the most insulting thing I have ever seen a “fan” post. When did we turn into a program that sucks and has no upside? There are plenty of kids who are talented and who can pass their courses for us to be successful. We gave up when...
Constantly bringing up the CPJ years does nothing either. He’s gone and we’re not going back. We purposefully torpedoed the option offense and accepted the pain and losses that came with it. Go back to when we hired Paul and you will find many posts predicting what would happen when we made...
Because he deserves criticism for having such a terrible offense and allowing Wake to shut down Calvin. It’s not so much style as sucking so bad in that game.
Sort of agree. But Mack’s best record so far in his second stint is 8 wins and they lost a fair amount from that team. Diaz is the same…8 wins. Not saying we should beat either but I’m not scared.
I can explain it to you but in a understand it for you. A person can be talented in doing something a certain way and struggle to do it differently. If you can’t understand that basic concept I don’t know what to say except I really hope you didn’t get your degree from Tech. No one said our old...
Agree. But as a change of pace it was cool til we lost. My memory of those years is ELI with a ripped jersey and the the Wrecking Crew badges on the OL
I don’t think this will play out the way normal advertising does. There are influencers on social media today that 99% of us couldn’t name raking in cash for who knows what reason. I don’t think opportunities will necessarily be about the local car dealerships.
No offense but feels like I have heard that 4 or 5 times before. When kids started going pro before their 4 years people said it. When the one NCAA TV contract became individual conferences, when coaches started making more money than NFL coraches, and on and on. It will be different for sure...
Interesting that once a year or so someone posts the Marilyn Monroe picture in a Tech sweater. We don’t know what will take off or who will remember what a month from now. For now though it’s spread all over social media and Tech is mentioned every time. That has to be a good thing. Why not...
I get that just pointing out that the concern he seemed to have about schools paying athletes will still not be allowed under any of the NIL laws that have been passed or proposed.
Just to be clear you realize none of the NIL laws allow for the school to pay athletes right? As best I can tell that’s your concern and that’s not what has been proposed.
