As has been said numerous times we did hit and tackle throughout the spring and during the open scrimmages. Friday was about showcasing players and creating an atmosphere for fans, players and recruits. And guess what? From feedback from recruits if worked. They enjoyed it.

The spring game has nothing to do with getting better. That’s what practice and scrimmages are for. No team in the country used their spring game to improve anything, it’s a showcase.
