If we can limit the damage the rest of the way in we have a decent shot at making today’s cut as most teams are losing ground. But making tomorrow’s doesn’t look good at all.
I don’t remember anyone actually coming up with the names or weights back when this first came up. Plus all we know are posted weights. We all know those are often not accurate. Whether it was hyperbole or what there is no way to be sure.
Which players were in the calculations? Remember that part of the discussion? Walk-ons could count, actual weights versus posted weights? Pre-season versus end of season. None of us has any idea what the actual number was yet you decide it’s a lie. Sounds like a you issue to me.
I agree with this but part of the reason he was hired was specifically to change the offense. On the defensive side we’ve been bad for year’s precisely because we didn’t have the players needed.
Don’t actually remember CGC saying anything negative about Paul. He’s been pretty complementary. Saying that we are changing our system, need different kinds of players and are having to change things up to play a new style isn't taking a swipe at anybody. It’s stating facts. Unless you are...
But that’s not taking a swipe at anybody. He was trying to keep people invested and engaged. So to be clear you’re now agreeing that he wasn’t taking a swipe at anyone, you just don’t like his style.
So what was the point then?
Personally if you feel he’s taken swipes at PJ that’s all on you. He hasn’t, you just listen with that chip on your shoulder. He has said we needed different players and he wants a new culture. Every coach does that when they take over a program.
HS players are taking more math and thinking about school more than back in the day. Tech also understands we need to provide the support to keep kids in school and on track. We can recruit just anyone but there are plenty of guys who we can. IMO we simply have up on any of those guys in the...
Not sure about that. Lots of teams still on the course and most are losing strokes to par the longer they are out. Won’t have much of an idea until the round is over.
Shawn redshirted so technically you’re talking about his 3rd year in the program. Justin and Josh had the advantage of easing into the job. Jeff didn’t even have a real freshman year. I expect him to be improved but vastly is not only not measurable but a strange bar to set.
