    Paul Johnson time frame.

I know that there is a lot of emotion related to where things are... I think winning literally cures everything. Winning 4 of 5 has opened the door for most rational people to say "yeah, I could see it..." We have a freshman QB that's having success behind an OL that returns most everyone...

    Updated Offensive Stats (11/4/2018)

Red Zone offense is a bit surprising, and also a bit disappointing. Overall though, very impressive numbers. I hope the defense can continue to figure out ways to get negative plays and turnovers, and improve on 3rd down a bit. I have faith that Woody is a good coordinator and will make us...

    GT v Tarholes Post Game

Some good things to take away from today... we blew a solid 2nd half lead, but we didn't fold. We got 2 picks and found a way to seal the deal. TO is CLEARLY a better fit for this offense than TQM, and it was good to see Johnson stick with Oliver. Will be interesting to see if he continues to...

    Tech or Kentucky?

Without question, I will always prefer a GT win over a ugag loss. We are back to 5-4, have a good shot to win one or both of the next 2 to get us to 6-5 or 7-4 going into COFH. We've recovered our season to a point that it can be a decent year rather than a terrible year. We have a freshman...

Need to mention #73, Zach Quinney ...

Pretty awesome to see both him and Hansen getting meaningful snaps as freshmen... both lower end 3 star additions... I believe Hansen was a 2 star before committing and after further evaluation was elevated to 3. Both seem like great kids and I'm happy to see them helping contribute early...

    Banks waiver application

Has there been any news on this? I hope they clear him and he can play this fall. Would be a nice depth addition.

    Recruiting analysis

Here are some key players from those recruiting classes in 14, 15 and 16 that are not on the field for us for various reasons... Trey Klock (transfer) Gary Brown (didn't he quit?) Marcus Marshall (transfer - lost job to Mills) KirVante Benson (injured) Dante Wigley (I was very high on him out...

    Oliver

He's got to be the starter going forward right? We've yet to see him run the full breadth of the offense, but his vision is excellent, he evades contact well in my opinion, and has the length and strength to fight for extra yards. I am grateful for TQM and all his hard work as a GT student...

    Clemson postgame

Oliver needs snaps going forward... he looks good, isn't going to hurt us, may actually be better. But he needs to play... no reason to roll with a senior and lose when a freshman could lose and get valuable game experience.

Where do we go from here?

Beyond a million other factors that could be discussed, here's one that is not discussed here often. 4 and 5 star athletes all believe they are going to make it to the NFL, even if the statistic don't really bare that out. But... to recruit 4 and 5 star athletes, you have to start with having...

    Long Update Over On Rivals

Sounds like the depth chart is taking shape... I’m excited to see how the front 7 does with the new scheme, even more excited to see who gets the most snaps up front. Glad to see and hear we will be attacking more and playing a faster brand of defense. No more leaky roof D :)

Should I of took the bet?

I'd take that bet. Clemson is not a NC contender this year, in my personal opinion. We have a small chance to actually win that game, IMO.

    A-Back's after 2018 season

I think Perimeter blocking is where I am most concerned. The 3-9 meltdown was a combination of a lot of things, but Perimeter blocking was an absolute nightmare that year.

    A-Back's after 2018 season

There will be 11 returning scholarship OL after this class not including the incoming freshmen. I am fine with the OL outlook for 2019. For 2020 could be another story if we can't finish strong in this class.

    A-Back's after 2018 season

So, after Qua Searcy and Clinton Lynch graduate, we have Cottrell, Jarrett, Gantt, and the 3 freshmen that signed and are coming in this fall (Jackson, Whatley, Smith). Obviously we could have position moves, such as one of the hybrid AB/BB guys like Mason moving over to AB, but we only have 4...

    2019 NBA Mock Draft

My expectation is JO comes back for one more year, unless he's struggling in the classroom... I have no idea what kind of student he is. If he's handling the academics, I could see him staying one more year and possibly being a mid 1st rounder or late lottery pick in the following years draft...

    2/11 - dook @ GT

So much respect for Wright and Cole having great showings tonight... big confidence boost for next year right here. Hopefully both of those guys develop into rotation caliber guys next year. Remember that Lammers hardly played as a freshman either. The jump from HS to the ACC is pretty intense.

    1/29 Update to Recruiting Initiative

That's awesome! I'm sure that last $15000 will come in easily, especially knowing it triggers a $100,000 gift.

    Errin Joe

Welcome back to the flats! He will serve as a graduate assistant to help with the OL.

    Adding Wood to the Fire

I love this hire... has coached a lot of position groups, was Wofford's recruiting coordinator for 2 years. This is his first new job away from Wofford, he's been there basically since 2001 as a player or coach.
