@Milwaukee ... 10$ a month for my hobby and forum reading and a little extra information / commentary even Ken does not have... including a mail bag (might get commentary or information), war room: information and some inside comments, forum access just to jaw and talk, but don't expect him to run down the program or tell anything damaging.

Thanks @Longestday, I'm gonna give this a look in a bit. I was a subscriber to the "sites" in my 20s but haven't deemed it worthy in my 30s but I'm gonna check this out.

I won’t even pay for my own Netflix. I can’t imagine footing 10 a month for info that will become public eventually anyways. I respect everyone places value in things differently, but spending on sports boards was always something I couldn’t wrap my head around.

Edit: I do miss the quality info Eric used to provide :(

Saturday around noon is all I want to know. Unless I’m wrong, I’m pretty sure the starting lineup will be announced. I’ve been wrong before.

Sounds like the depth chart is taking shape... I’m excited to see how the front 7 does with the new scheme, even more excited to see who gets the most snaps up front.

Glad to see and hear we will be attacking more and playing a faster brand of defense. No more leaky roof D :)

A lot of what's in there will never become public. It just comes down to if you're an information junkie or not.

From Ken's article:

"Johnson said he had “no idea” if backup quarterbacks Tobias Oliver or James Graham would play on Saturday in the opener against Alcorn State.

“I have no plan on putting them in in a certain series or whatever,” he said"

My take:

Either: CPJ has zero confidence in the backups. Despite " being able to call a game for any of the three QBs" Tobias isn't ready for prime time and he is not willing to waste 1/4 of allowed game time to use up Graham's redshirt season.

Or: Until TqM can show CPJ he can get things done in the passing game he will stay in unless it is obvious that he is not a passing QB.

OR
Like most games for most teams, the backup QB only comes in because of injury or blowout lead.

Or: TM is the unquestioned starter, and will play until the game is safely in hand. At which point, backup QBs may get some snaps.

I took that response as he’s just going to go into the game the same as with any other game...ie playing to win. He’ll work the backups in as the game develops and we (hopefully) open up a big lead, but if it’s a tight game he’s not going to make a switch just to get them PT. Also, with the new rule Graham can play the entirety of 4 games without losing his redshirt, so I’d expect him to see the field if we are up big to get his feet wet. If Graham looks like he can be a legit weapon for us this year (either in special packages at QB or out wide), then he’ll likely stay in the rotation the rest of the season.

I just signed up for the month to month package so I can drop it if I ever want to. I’d suggest anyone that is a news junkie to go do the same, some info in there is really really good. I’ll add that there is one surprise that I doubt anyone would expect of a player who might emerge as a starter by seasons end.

I can add only this.

My best friend went to see Barnhardt up in North Carolina; i.e. he wasn't talking to a crowd of Tech homers. He was adamant: Clemson is not going to be beat this year and will win the ACC. No surprise there, of course. What was a surprise was his prediction for the two teams that will play them for the championship. They were either:

VT - he thought they had really good material coming back and that their D will be back up to snuff, and (wait for it)

Tech - he said they were the only team besides Clemson that had the core of both their O and D coming back and with game experience. When Coach has that we are very dangerous.

Well … I know the opinion this board has of Barnhardt, but I was encouraged. Btw, he thought Miami was a paper tiger.
