I think it is more about keeping a banged up Senior QB playable, rather than just letting him get banged up even more and possible ending the season early.I don’t really see this as Johnson having a short leash for TaQuon or pulling him because he’s not playing well enough. To me it feels like he thinks TQM is “safer” and is using him to get a feel for how the defense is playing, then putting Oliver out there with an idea how to attack them. If the playing time was getting split based on how well the O was functioning, we probably would have seen TQM get a drive or two late when we kept turning it over. I think this method is a damn good way to help ease a young, inexperienced QB into the action.

I keep hearing TO only has small percentage of the offensive playbook down and thus TQ is a better option. This is like talking out both sides of your mouth. TQ misses so many reads how much of play book does he actually have down? Dont get me wrong I'm all for publicly naming TQ the #1 guy, but we all know who the #1 guy is.I don’t mind this. Imo against Miami we need more of the play book open and I believe TM gives us that. I do think it will be a short leash though.
Talking out of both sides comment wasn't directed towards you 47. GeneralizingI keep hearing TO only has small percentage of the offensive playbook down and thus TQ is a better option. Missing reads is different than knowing the playbook.I keep hearing TO only has small percentage of the offensive playbook down and thus TQ is a better option. Why in the world would you not give Richt the headache of having to prepare for two quarterbacks?
I just like what a see from TO He's thunder and lightning at quarterback while it seems TM has lost a step(I think he's been playing hurt since USF)Why in the world would you not give Richt the headache of having to prepare for two quarterbacks?
I get this, but when TM is healthy he runs this offense better than TO from what I’ve seen because he has more of the playbook so it seems, and those misreads are not as often. I also saw TO missing reads this week.I keep hearing TO only has small percentage of the offensive playbook down and thus TQ is a better option. This is like talking out both sides of your mouth. You are forgetting CPJ’s MO with the press.I just like what a see from TO He's thunder and lightning at quarterback while it seems TM has lost a step(I think he's been playing hurt since USF)
I’m going to trust the coach on this onePros - he reads as well or even better than TQM
