This becomes far less surprising knowing now that he's publicly stated he's 'outing' Pastner because he didn't call him on his birthday.

What this guy doesn't realize is if he's going to try to break news, he's going to also quickly become the news. Which means the microscope is going to turn on him soon. If his story isn't air tight and the evidence doesn't contradict itself, then he could look like a guy that has something. But the more research people do, the more this guy is going to look bad. Real bad.

GP isn't close to the Memphis program. He threw a fit when they didn't hire his friend Steve Forbes, the former UTk assistant.

However, GP and his friends covered the Memphis program for years. They have known Bell for a long time. Partially, Jason Smith wrote that article about him. I don't think GP would pass up a story like this, even if he likes Josh. I do believe him and Josh are close.

BTW. I'm probably the only Memphis and GT alumni on this board.

Thanks for the background notes.

I wasn't intimating that Parrish was/is connected to the MEM program but I know he's a Memphis guy. I've sorta followed his work off/on for a while. He's been mostly positive towards Pastner during his time here but, to me, most of the Memphis guys are still on (for lack of a better word) Pastner to a degree. That's all I'm saying.

It smells to me like, as that twit I posted suggested, Bell simply used Parrish as his mouthpiece. I don't think Parrish sought out the story but that's JMHO. Based on what you said, sounds like they had a prior relationship and the guy knew Parrish has a national platform on which he could spew his nonsense.

Also, why is your username not TigerJacket or something? :sneaky:

I feel bad for Tadric and Lammers. Big senior seasons could have really helped their professional chances. Lammers will have little help if Okogie and Tadric are out for longer than anticipated.

I really don’t think they’ll miss more time. If anything this helps our case on how this guy is a nut job
