Sounds like you’re accepting mediocrity with the student athletes we produce.Has nothing to do with what we are talking about which is football.

and trying, and trying, and trying, and trying, etc.Bull. They are student athletes. It is a part of the overall picture. It just doesn't fit with the narrative you keep trying to spin.
We are talking about football amd winning games. Who says a new coach can't graduate players as well? Just a ridiculous argumentBull. They are student athletes. It is a part of the overall picture. It just doesn't fit with the narrative you keep trying to spin.
Spin all you want......few are buying what you are trying to sell.We are talking about football amd winning games. Who says a new coach can't graduate players as well? Just a ridiculous argument
He keeps trying to sell the idea that students athletes are only here to to play football and nothing else.Sounds like you’re accepting mediocrity with the student athletes we produce.
Well, it is a fact that until CPJ, coaches were not graduating players at the rate we are now. So whether or not another coach could continue that success is an important point to consider, as CPJ has shown excellence in developing players off the field. If you think our AD doesn't care about this, you are fooling yourself. We are talking about football amd winning games. Who says a new coach can't graduate players as well? Just a ridiculous argument
Im not trying to sell anything. You seem to think CPJ is the only guy that can graduate playersSpin all you want......few are buying what you are trying to sell.
Sure you're not Fact is, CPJ is doing what previous coaches failed to do. It doesn't fit your narrative of football only, so you ignore that fact. Thankfully, only a few other clueless "fans" buy into your narrative.Im not trying to sell anything. You seem to think CPJ is the only guy that can graduate players
He certainly isn’t.Im not trying to sell anything. You seem to think CPJ is the only guy that can graduate players
You seem to be out thinking yourself here. Paul Johnson isn't the only coach who can graduate players. Also when we do hire a new coach that isn't going to be one of the things we really care about. If you are honest for once it really is about footballSure you're not Fact is, CPJ is doing what previous coaches failed to do. Wow....you really are clueless. But keep with the denial......it is entertaining. You seem to be out thinking yourself here. Paul Johnson isn't the only coach who can graduate players. He is living in his own little bubble where football is the only reason these kids are on campus. You are 100% wrong. If you think the AD, student council representative, and school administrative representatives are not going to includes questions about maintaining scholastic excellence as part of their interview you process then you are living on a different planet.
Please take some time and listen to any of the Todd Stansbury podcasts. He is an incredibly strong advocate in our athletes being students first. He does not want to do things the Clemson way, he wants to do them the GT way.
No im not. Im just being realistic when it comes for the time that we hire a new coachHe is living in his own little bubble where football is the only reason these kids are on campus.
Uh, yes you are......if you do not think academic progress and graduating players is going to be a high priority when a new coach is hired after CPJ retires, then you are too clueless to even be posting here.No im not. Im just being realistic when it comes for the time that we hire a new coach
Paul is #37 so his seat is starting to cool off
He will be on it again when he's hired by Kansas,Colorado,New Mexico or UNLVPetrino is off the hot seat as well
No im not. Im just being realistic when it comes for the time that we hire a new coach
