I'm guessing the timing of this Tweet is not a pure coincidence
think back to when you were at Tech. I know I made some horrendous decisions when I was 19, 20, 21.What a waste. JMU where he will be forgotten. I think he has made a huge mistake.
Marshall said the biggest reason for leaving Georgia Tech was its triple-option offense.
“I felt like the offense wasn’t my best fit,” Marshall said. “I felt like I could be more productive in a different system, something where I’d have a little more space to work in.
“With James Madison, I looked at their offense and I had the chance to see it first-hand against Sam Houston State. I really liked what I saw. I felt I could fit perfectly.”
Hmmm. He sure seemed to me to do fine and get plenty of yards in the offense.Well, Marcus Marshall talks about the transfer:

There were hints that the offense was the real reason for his transfer, and not playing time.

One mistake I did not make though, was bailing from Tech. It would have been quite easy considering my GPA at the time......guess I was too hard-headed..... My wife says I still am.think back to when you were at Tech. I know I made some horrendous decisions when I was 19, 20, 21.
I just don't buy this logic cause anybody that comes to Tech knows what the freakin offense is!

Well, to be fair, we could've at least told him what offense we run while recruiting him.
He knew when he committed. But there are still a ton of misconceptions about our O. Lots of people telling a young player the O is holding him back....can eventually create a change of mind. Especially when said player wasn't convicted entirely in first place.
They sold him on the 2013 Vad Lee film. He was expecting a lot of Diamond and Pistol formations.
He's still chasing that Vad Lee film to JMU...
