To me, anything but a white GT on a gold helmet is trash. The white honeycomb helmet was an embarrassment.

Because it looks stupid. You can't even see it except in a closeup, so it's really a waste. But even so, I still think it looks stupid.

A darker and "flatter" shade of gold will be more visually dominating than the lighter shades often displayed. The orange tinted yellow also "pops" more but dang it's butt ugly.

I'm hoping for a darker flatter shade. White numerals on that shade of gold would be more visible, ditto gold numerals on white. Downside would be navy numerals on darker shade of gold would be uglier....but could still use navy numerals on white if we want.

I think that entire look is universally (almost universally) liked. I hope it becomes one of about 3-4 that gets permanently adopted by the Stans regime.

We have been wearing the right uniform this year with the exception of the stupid white out last week. Just keep wearing the Gold Helmets, White Jerseys and Gold Pants with the stripes. That is the traditional GT uniform. Just leave it the hell alone.
