No Music City Bowl this year?

I just don’t get the fascination with putting Virginia in the Belk Bowl. The Pinstripe and Military are shorter travel for them. Music City is a straight shot down I-81. Their fan base gives the Sun Bowl the best chance for a decent turnout. And dammit we beat them!

I may be the only one that thinks like this but if we end up played on DEC 20,26,27 I could careless about the Bowl , and yes I know it's for the players but De 26 or 27 means your going to spend Christmas in a Hotel ain't that a great way to spend Christmas .

It not who deserves to go to which bowl , now you will see how good of a salesman our AD is by which we go.

I went to Gator.Missed on buying from AA tix. Ky folks were excited for a "once in a while bowl."

I was there as well and was disappointed with GT attendance. However, this was UKs first bowl game since the 2009 season, and their bowl that year was the BBV Compass bowl in Birmingham. If you’re living in Kentucky, Jacksonville would be considered a luxury vacation.

This stuff really doesn't help GT in any way.

I used to have to travel to shreveport for business alot. Its not bad if u know the area. U have casinos. Strip clubs (albeit not great but ok enough). There a few good restaurant and bar spots outside the city area 10 mins away towards a few of the surrounding areas. Hotels are cheap. Flights are direct and easy. Etc. issue is dec 27 a tough date

I don't want to face USF at all but that team is going to lose by 30+ to Tech. That team will have no motivation in that game at all.

Same as Detroit! Lol. I wouldn’t be upset if we got the Quick Lane Bowl but that’s selfish reasons only.

It would be nice to brutally beat USF since they collapsed late season because of injuries

I believe the ACC has a rule with the bowl tie ins where a team playing in the championship game can only fall to the Sun Bowl at worst. That is why Tech got selected to the Sun in 2013 at 6-7 even though we should have been tier 2.

This is horseshat. Why do we get dropped to sun bowl or tier 2 when we beat 2 of the 4 teams in that tier 1 list? Didn't play cuse.

This is ridiculous.
Miami fans won't travel to Jacksonville, there is nothing for them. Send them to NYC where they can match arrogance with those folks.
Where is Music city on the list?
