No Music City Bowl this year?

I just don’t get the fascination with putting Virginia in the Belk Bowl. The Pinstripe and Military are shorter travel for them. Music City is a straight shot down I-81. Their fan base gives the Sun Bowl the best chance for a decent turnout. And dammit we beat them!

This is horseshat. Why do we get dropped to sun bowl or tier 2 when we beat 2 of the 4 teams in that tier 1 list? Didn't play cuse.

This is ridiculous.
Miami fans won't travel to Jacksonville, there is nothing for them. Send them to NYC where they can match arrogance with those folks.
Where is Music city on the list?

The Gator and Music City both have the choice between an ACC or Big 10 team. Unlikely they both pick an ACC team. Miami may have gotten into the Gator by beating Pitt, which is why I didn't want that to happen.

From Joe Giglio.... To clarify the Gasparilla point: the game is being played before Christmas this season, because of a scheduling issue with the stadium. The ACC will allow a school in exams the option of skipping the game (and play in Heart of Dallas instead). So Georgia Tech could end up in Dallas if they so choose...

Also...Charlotte, in particular, has been in flux. No great choice for Belk with UVA, Duke, BC, GT and Pitt all losing this week.... Maybe Auburn vs GT in Belk if AD TStan can make it happen!

It is one or the other...if the gator take a ACC, the Music takes a B10

I would be nervous about South Carolina that had 545 yards offense against Clemson

Imo these make the most sense from a match up stand point

Camping World: NC State or Syracuse (probably NC State because of distance)
Music City: Georgia Tech Or Miami
Belk: Georgia Tech Or Miami
Pinstripe: Pitt or Syracuse
Sun: Pitt or Syracuse
if Syracuse was in the Camping World I’d send Miami to Sun and NC State and GT could go to either the Music City or Belk. Geographically and based on what the teams accomplished, especially the second half of the season, this makes the most sense imo. If I was picking, it would look like this.

I don’t think we want any part of Usce or Auburn. They would be fun to watch but I’m not sure we will move the ball against either of those teams with us not being able to complete forward passes.

Issue is, they might want to even out the ACC teams that have played in the Music City and Gator Bowl if I’m not mistaken. If the Gator Bowl takes an ACC team that’s 3 and they can’t take one for the next two years.
