Not mandatory of course, but I think those of us who can might want to help out these student athletes. They did what we asked them to do so a small donation from those of us that can will help keep this momentum going. Batt picked Key so I trusted it was the right move. Personally I was mostly sold after a couple games. Last year sealed it for me, this is the best coach we could have gotten. The big question mark after that was could he assemble a staff. He ran off the all hat and not cattle crowd. Well, who better could we have gotten than Faulkner and Santucci? We said we couldn’t get good staff here but Batt and Key delivered.

IIRC, there were also a few on this board who talked down our hiring a "quality control analyst from UGA."

Not sure if any of them will own that, but I recall their objections being pretty vehement. Glad their takes were wrong.

We rushed 69% of the time—that’s a LOT. FSU was more balanced.

We got stuffed 14% of the time—an FSU player meeting our guy in the backfield. Our defense stuffed them more often.

Our OL was responsible for about 1.2 yards per play. Our RBs for about 3 1/2 (the plays like the ones where Jamal Haynes made defenders look like they were on skates helped)

I questioned a bit that as well, but wasn’t like they had a position to promote him to. Seemed like he wanted to move up so it appeared legit. Of course a lot of people wanted a proven commodity, but it was hard to argue what we got plus Key and Bart picked him.

So are we back to the quirky running offense now. Ha!

I love the O. Love that we can pound with the best and we can air it out when needed, too. To me, this is kind of like what a CPJ O might have looked like had he wanted to adapt it a good bit.

OK, so I’ll say it… how do you guys think Vad Lee would have done in this O? Ha!
