Underwood at Stephen F Austin has been on my second tier but if he wins big again this year then he may need to be moved up.
Let's face it - alot of eyes will be kept on Charlotte as well. The AJC had a nice article on Price a couple of weeks ago.

Actually, I want BG to be a successful coach at GT. I hope it begins this year.

I'm sympathetic. I just wish this year didn't appear so set-up for a 1-off season. We've injected playmakers for one season, and the next year we'll see what we have from an almost whole new team.

Well CBG's current recruiting class is looking a lot better than the recent past classes (not knocking any players). With that hopefully they can come in an "do something big" their freshman year.

Mizzou's getting all they deserved for hiring this middling, retread, obviously cheating clown. You're next, Tulsa and I'll have not sympathy for you either.

Gee, why can't GT cheat like the big boys do?

Seriously, I too would be pleased if CBG could re-establish us as a basketball power.

It was a real head scratcher when left Mizzou for Tulsa. I guess he knew the ax was going to fall eventually and took his questionable talents to a new arena while he could. I bet his contract has a clause saying NCAA transgressions at Miami or Missouri cannot be used as a basis for his firing by Tulsa.

I have a Memphis alum at work who likes Pastner but knows he isn't a strong coach. He knew about the buyout. When they redid Pastner's contract a couple of years ago they upped the buyout. You wonder if Memphis had been watching what GT had done and said 'man we got to get in on this trend'.
That's going to be alot of money to payout and even with FedEx money behind them that is likely to limit their options.

Hard not to like JP. He is one of probably the 3 best recruiters in the country. He will always have an opportunity for his talent to overshadow his X's and O's shortcomings.
