We were hot and Snitker pulled Ozzie from 8 up to 5 or 6. I just don't get it. He did the same crap with Acuna in the leadoff spot and finally went back to it. Ozzie in the 8 hole makes our lineup untouchable imo.

I think getting a W tomorrow is very important. I was hoping we’d just split the series before it started. Don’t want to drop 2 games on a home series to these guys.

Scherzer pitch a bullpen today. 15 max effort pitches. Reports are he felt great. O issues. Expects to pitch next week v Rockies or Dodgers.

...after that report, TV broadcast color guy speculated out loud, "...what if Max starts tomorrow. No inside info, but would not surprise me. I mean... he started, pitched & won with a broken face earlier this year."

I don't think for a second, Scherzer will start tomorrow, but I like that line.
