This was one of Bryse Wilson’s worst starts of his career. For a guy that throws strikes, you’ll have a bad game here or there, but he struggled with fastball command tonight leaving a lot of pitches right over the heart of the plate. It was a real shame, because he was throwing one of the better change-ups I’ve seen from him.

We need a dependable 5th starter, right now! Soroka and Fried cannot be expected to go on 3 or 4 days rest.

Also saw that Inciarte was 0-5 ... I like the idea of the Braves picking up Baumgartner from the Giants. He has a reputation as a innings eater, dependable starter and not overly costly.

Giants are reportedly asking a lot for Bumgarner. I have no idea what they would want for Smith or Melancon to be included. Madison placed all the contenders on his “no trade” list. Further complicating his acquisition, most likely to get more money or years added on. Negotiations ploy, by his agent??

They have to do something with Inciarte or release him. Unless the Braves can think of some affliction to place him back on the I.L.

The Braves have loads of outfield depth including the minor leagues and i would try to trade Ender for whatever i could get for him. If nobody wants him then i would release him following the 2019 season.

Somebody will want Ender. His defense alone gives him a lot of value. I would try to package Ender, Duvall, Allard, and Wilson or Wright for Stroman or Boyd.

Not sure how you guys feel about packaging Inciarte with Folty, that may be a tempting duo for a team willing to gamble with potential huge upside.
I personally like both these guys, but like was said our outfield is deep and for whatever reason, I think Folty has lost it and is a longshot for getting it back ...

Ender has to be placed on waivers to send down because he’s out of options. He will be claimed, since several teams need a CF. The rehab. stint is about over, that’s why A.A. is and has been shopping him.

I’m fine with trading Foltynewicz to see if we can get upside value. If not, I’d love to see the conversion to becoming a closer or even an 8th inning set-up guy.

Should Tehran have a bad start or two coming out of the ASG Gate, Atlanta might need two starters.

Guys, I’m deliriously happy in signing Keuchel without a draft pick surrendered for the 13m. It’s a need we have in starting pitching, plus could you imagine what his value would be on the trade market in the next 19 days?

I wonder if the Braves could trade for Seattle Mariners pitcher Marco Gonzales who is 10-7 with a 4.24 ERA. I know the Mariners will be selling but i wonder what they would ask for.
