Mike, you covered all the bases. I can’t argue or differ against any of those selections. Well thought out and calculated. Sentimentally, you and the rest of us want the Braves(Fred wants the Nats.), but in reality those outcomes are more likely.I meant to say the Yankees record will be 106-56 My eyesight isn't good at all
Great points you make,BuzzbombMike, you covered all the bases. I can’t argue or differ against any of those selections. Well thought out and calculated. Sentimentally, you and the rest of us want the Braves(Fred wants the Nats.), but in reality those outcomes are more likely.
Although it seems trivial, by having the Yanks over LA in a close series, it does show the importance of the ASG. It would give the Bronx Bombers the home field advantage. When they did that rotationally and the Twins beat us in that 7th game of the WS, it made the difference in that bandbox called the Metro-dome. If we played it in old AFCS, we probably take it without extra innings.
Real nice work putting all that together with final records! LA over Atl. in NLCS and NY over Houston in ALCS, correct?
I agree with you and i think the Braves would beat the Cubs 3-0 in the NL Divisional Series.I know you normally like the Astros, and I favor the Twins slightly this year-therefore we are in agreement on the ALCS, too!
You have predicted earlier this week that the Cubs will be fading. I’m with you there! I see Atlanta taking them down like you do.
I would pitch Soroka and Mike Minor(if acquired)in Atlanta....then Keuchel, Fried in Wrigley Field. Tehran or Wilson(whoever is hotter)if we need a fifth game or back to Soroka if skipping a #5 starter.
I have good news for you/us (if I read your post correctly, you may have missed the change that went into effect last year)... the home team for the World Series is still TBD. It will be the team in the WS with the better record. Braves and Nats still have a shot at home field for the WS.Mike, you covered all the bases.
