Rumors are going around that Michael Brantley and Wilson Ramos are near the top of the Braves list of potential free agents. Michael Brantley could replace Nick Markakis in the outfield and Wilson Ramos could replace free agent Nick Suzuki.

Might test market if Braves can sell high on Ender Inciarte, with a fabulous return. Good speed, defense, batted .266 with 660 plate appearances in a dropping off year from 2017, but not so much compared to career stats.

A.A. has hired Mike Fast as a special asst. He was noted as an analytics guru in the A.L. w/Houston.

Adam Duvall could be non-tendered. He is expected to get around 3.1 m. in arbitration.

The Mets Jason DeGrom did not deserve the Cy Young Award No pitcher with a 10-9 record should even be considered for the Cy Young MLB should just go back to awarding the Cy Young Award according to who has the best record or who has the most saves MLB should not be in the business of handing out participation trophies

I disagree wholeheartedly with this. DeGrom was the most dominant pitcher in all of baseball. Period. End of discussion. He had multiple games where the Mets had the lead when he left the game, only to lose it. He would have won around 25 games with any kind of run support.

Chris Rose thinks the Mets will get Craig Kimbrell. DeGrom had a 1.74 ERA, with incredible stats. I believe he has the most active quality start streak in the M.L.
