Waiting for the NCAA to announce that they can't punish half the P5 teams that are about to get outed by the FBI or else college basketball wouldn't exist. Instead the NCAA is going to wipe everyone's slate clean from that point forward and they expect schools to be on their best behavior. "Hey, so we don't want to lose our money making teams, how about we just forgive everyone their sins and pretend none of this happened?!"

How does the NCAA deal with the fact they can't bury FBI evidence?

My understanding is that a lot of the allegations revolve around players from a group of AAU teams run be a particular individual. I don't think UNC has really been recruiting from that AAU group. I think Kentucky only got one guy from that group (Nerlens Noel). I believe Kansas and Michigan State are much closer with that group. Will also be interesting to see if Capel is involved, as the probe has taken place during the exact time he came in and elevated Duke's recruiting of one-and-dones at an exponential rate (really by taking players that were previously going to Kansas and Kentucky). In terms of the "blue-bloods," I would rank the likelihood of involvement as follows:
1) Kansas
2) Mich St
3) Duke
4) UK
5 ) UNC

That said, who the heck knows. I certainly don't. Could be all or none.

You think it is bad at Tech. If Mich st gets hit with this along with the Nassar stuff woah.

Should I be happy that an 8 year investigation of Syracuse only led to finding $5k in payments, a few written papers, and failure to consistently administer a non-NCAA mandatory drug policy? Or should I be scared s***less that it was the NCAA who did the investigation, and not the feds?

As a GT fan I am not sure what to think. Based on the suggestion that there are 50 major teams implicated, do we basically have a coin-flip situation re: our involvement and therefore fate? I know there are 330-ish teams in the NCAA, but maybe half move the needle.

If we are cheating we aren’t very good at it

Can confirm we have cheated and we do suck at it.. got our best recruiter fired. Plus, TJ and JO were "tricked" but you could call that cheating too.

If we are somehow included in this FBI crap despite our awful program over the past decade+ that would be the perfect crap bow on top of this crap season.

You must be privy to information I have not yet heard. I do not know why CDL resigned.

I'm just assuming if we are still being investigated by the NCAA and he left the program that we probably weren't following the rules but I guess we'll see.

No loss of scholarships
No reduction of off campus recruiters
No show cause (aside from the one already given to McGee)
No limitations on the program moving forward in regards to recruiting.

In public Louisville has to play like they are offended

In the big office they are slugging Martinis and smoking big cigars

"Along with the vacated wins, Louisville's other penalties included a fine, scholarship reductions and recruiting restrictions. "
