Zion was likely one of the highest paid players ever in college basketball. And everybody knows it. Even Ratface.
As you know, the only person that is not aware of it, is in fact Coach K.

The Mitch McConnell of college basketballHe lies better than a career DC politician!
U have to be ****ing kidding me.
So here we go. Not only is Duke still getting away with murder, they might even be able to get some MORE money once Nike is determined to owe the "victims" that are Duke and Coach K. What a bunch of mountainous sized bull****.
The premise of the federal case is that the schools are the victims. This isn't new.
The alleged fraud is that the shoe companies paid the players, making them ineligible, with out the schools' knowledge. I still think the case is weak because someone at the school obviously knows. We've seen transcripts of some of these conversations.
Remember though, there are always buffers.
That conclusion is not just obviously false, it is a mockery of the entire situation. Guys like Zion Williamson ARE the school. THEY are the ones impacted, not professors or students or lawn maintenance or cafeteria workers at the school. Professors aren't losing their jobs or made ineligible to teach. Its folks like Zion Williamson who would be made ineligible - by his own decisions. When we talk about a school like Duke being the victim or Duke being damaged, it is not the Economics 301 class...its the DUKE BASKETBALL TEAM being harmed. Its Zion Williamson being harmed. The very notion these people are victims is a farce.
They sure do their best, though...Incompetence isn’t relegated to the NCAA.

They have given teachers and tutors show cause penalties to make sure they can't coach basketball for a few years.
That'll show em...lets ban someone who doesn't coach basketball from coaching basketball.
LSU: Coach, we got away with it!!
Wade: F you, show me my money!!!
