I would give them Austin Riley and Mike Folynewicz;)
Yeah, I don’t think that’s enough. If I were Colorado, I’d want more to try and compete. Better my club through the trade. Plus I’m eating 20-50 million in contract terms.

I just think Atlanta would have gone 7 years on Rendon & a sandwich pick, rather than 8 years and half the starting lineup for Arenado to help the Rockies compete?

Wouldn't part with Soroka, Fried or Acuna under any circumstances ... on Albies, talk to me !
I’m totally guessing here, looking at Colorado needs.
Would you give up Albies, Fried or Wright, Anderson, Riley and Waters?

They probably insist on Fried over Wright or Wilson. Might favor Pache over Waters.

Buzz, Fried would be non-negotiable for me ... I think he has as much, if not more of upside as Soroka.
IMO, Fried and Soroka are the rocks in the Braves future starting rotation ... I know we have some young arms with potential, but these two guys have proven themselves in the "show" !!

Let’s be clear, I wouldn’t give up any of those guys, even Riley. The salary could cripple the club in time. Injuries happen and I don’t hear much about insurance paying for these players these days? Money is whacked.

Arenado has a no-Trade clause. It could be a moot point. Bud Black, mgr., stated he wouldn't trade Nolan. They are taking calls on all the players. A 71-91 club must listen.

Again, give me one reason you would try to validate Alex’s interest, when Rendon took less than this from the Angels? I can’t imagine serious interest from Atlanta. Too many players surrendered in a bounty, could be like what Teixera did to our future.

I can handle a weak hitting third baseman in 2020 if the Braves can make a trade for a hard hitting outfielder. If the Braves have a weak hitting third baseman and don't trade for a hard hitting outfielder they may have a winning record but they wont make the NL Playoffs.

I agree 100%.
I’d accept a platoon with Riley and Camargo.
I’ve heard some say they don’t like Ozuna(not on this site, but a couple of guys on a podcast). I like him. Requires zero in compensation.
Definitely shop Ender and Greene.
Think it was Bowman or O’Brien who caught up with G.M. Alex on the way out yesterday. He told them, the groundwork was ahead of schedule from last year, to do several things. Emphasis on a power hitter in the middle of the order, back-up SS and a SP.

I thought Ozuna was tied to draft pick compensation.

I think the Cardinals wouldn’t make a qualifying offer to guarantee him the 17.8 m. automatic 1 year, if he were to accept which wasn’t a choice? I could be wrong.

I know the Giants gave a Q.O. to Will Smith(he refused it)and Braves didn’t chance him being out there long. We owe a sandwich selection.

Josh D. turned his Q.O. down at 34 yo. and a .259 BA. Atlanta is due a pick, if he goes elsewhere.

That feeling you're having isn't just gas.
I have my I.B.S. under control, kind sir. Don’t drink beer(don’t tell stech81 that).
I’ve learned a few keys to eliminate indigestion, I’ll pass on. Dark meats, coffee, juices, chocolate, too much Vitamin C and Calcium, can contribute greatly.
This PSA was brought to you by someone who admits to being FOS. But not for long.

 Apologize for derailing the beginning of the post-Winter Meetings.
