Hes likely not going to be an every down LB but if the staff can use him in certain downs and packages he can be valuable. We started using him more situationally at the end of the year and he seemed to play better.

None of those guys have done anything in college except Efford the last few games of the year. We need to add 1 more proven LB imo. Edge is still priority #1 though

Seems highly likely Santucci is the DC based on the Simpson hire. I’m pretty sure Geep was hired last year before Buster and they had worked together previously so it made sense.

Agreed…uga outmatched us but they’ve done that to everyone. BC and Clemson are really the only games under Sherrer I thought the defense looked lost. If Key finds a perfect candidate then I’m all for upgrading but I think Sherrer can build on what we have and it will help with continuity and...

I don’t hate the idea of keeping Sherrer. He is experienced and seemed to do some good things once he took over. Our biggest issues are with talent. I’m sure Key will interview multiple options including Sherrer.

Every defensive position. We lose a lot of DBs and need to upgrade on DL and LB. Offense is pretty much set outside of some depth additions on OL or if a stud falls in our lap.

Im hoping Miami was a sign of whats to come with Sherrer taking over as DC and not a random blip like we occasionally saw with CGC (like UNC). Our team has been Jekyll and Hyde since CPJ left (even last year when Key took over).

Seems like we have a good chance of getting Blackburn, Lane, and DJ Moore back for the second half of the season. WR room would be stacked with everyone healthy.

Coach Key said in his interview today that Sylvain talked to his family about it and wants to come back to GT next year. Obviously things can change (as with any of our returning players) but as of now he’s coming back.

This is definitely a loss. No way to sugarcoat it, and i feel for Sylvain as he had high expectations this year and has battled injuries his whole career. But in the grand scheme of this team, sometimes the setbacks end up helping long term. 1) It will give us a chance to get Sylvain back...
