Where do you coach? What type of offense do you guys run? I live in SE Wisconsin and I always keep my eye out for split back veer, wishbone and flex offenses to go and see. Let me know.
Have you tried to somehow incorporate the teams yds per possession as well into a calculation? You already have a working number of possessions so that would be I think easy. That would give some indication of how far the offense had to go. Maybe multiply the two with some kind of weighted...
It might just be me but my first thought was the posts saying that CPJ was just pessimistic about the o and not giving any credit to the d. He's right and I don't have any problem with anything the he has said.
So, I believe the starting, not official week one, 2 deep comes out next week and the staff know who's going to be on the scout team but I cannot remember do we get to see it or do we have to wait until game week? Any help would be appreciated.
The point would be to force conferences to downsize, "right size". If that isn't going to happen then your solution would be a close second and something I easily could live with.
Wouldn't that just be a 12 team playoff with the top 4 getting 1st round bye's? I prefer 8 conference champions but the only conferences that are eligible are conferences that play every other team in the conference every year. No conference champion games.
I'd like to know what CPJ thinks in general what position is hardest for a younger player to step in as a full time starter and what position is hardest for a player without a lot of game experience?
It was taken out of the NCAA hands by the power 5 conferences this spring who wanted more authority over rules such as this and the courts. Each school already had say in the matter because they are part of the NCAA. The NCAA is not the bad guy. The rules they have put in place were because...
So does WR skills include blocking or is it proper route running, especially on read routes, and catching? I chose it anyway but it would be higher on my list if it included blocking.
Here is my list as it stands
1. A back blocking
2. A back and B back knowing where they are going. ( It...
You cannot get the balls to the Aback like that. The A backs get the balls as dictated by the defense. There is a better chance to force the ball into the Bback's hands by having him as the pitch on some of the speed on counter option plays but a backs in the running game is almost completely...
