If Days was not playing B back because of fumbling then he certainly would not have been playing A back and in the usually rotation. Which I'm thinking you don't remember. Do you? The 2 carries he was getting per game was as an A back.

I think CPJ said at one point last year he was the 2nd best o-lineman we had. I don't know where he fits at this point though. I haven't looked play by play to see the exacts though. I'm sure someone else on the board has or is more qualified. Hope this helps a little.
