Mostly the color -- the white gets dirty with normal wear. It's also a cloudfoam shoe, which is comfortable but the soles wear quicker than something like bounce.

I didn't take a close look at them, but that was my impression as well. The one I got when it was released was very average in quality. They seem closer to what the baseball team was actually wearing.
Went by the bookstore yesterday, so here are some pics of adidas stuff they have in stock (there were a few displays of older stuff -- baseball, jerseys, etc -- that I didn't include). Other observation is definitely less Nike and UA in stock, maybe 2-3 racks each.
