If we get a shred of decent pitching, we'll be a tough out.
But it's hard to see us putting together decent pitching for 3 games in a weekend (which is what it take to win a Regional).
All I know is that it would be very nice to win today to stay hot going into the post-season. With good pitching (like yesterday). When's the last time we would have own a game scoring only 4 runs? (Aside from this past week, of course.)
I think this is correct. It is money that has 'ruined' college men's sports, specifically, basketball and football.

I have now concluded that we will get to a Regional, NOT as host but as a #2, and go out with either a 2-2 or 1-2 record. Our pitching is simply not deep enough to get us any further. The 2-2 is if we caveman our win to one of those wins.

Our losses to Top 50 teams is probably near the top also because our schedule strength is so high.

We continue the unfortunate trend of only being able to win games where we score double digit runs. An excellent start gets wasted by our bullpen effort last night.
