I get your point but the problem he has right now is that he has missed so much time that he's still trying to learn his assignments. He's going to have to prove to the coaches that he knows his responsibilities before they're going to let him play. If it was just about running the ball...

Hands can be taught by putting him on the Jugs machine daily and making him work on catching the cross of the football. Getting cut by the Jets may be the kick in the pants he needs to make him focus on it.

He's day-to-day. Seems to be 1 step forward and 2 steps back but I think he's very hesitant to turn it up to 100%. Until he's able to go at 100% for an entire week, he won't even have a shot at playing. And if he doesn't play within the first 3 weeks, he's most likely going to redshirt unless...

I would assume that was Lynn. Suspended players won't travel but they are allowed to be on the sidelines. Heck, I've been on the sidelines a few times before so there's no reason why a player (even a suspended one) shouldn't be allowed there.

FWIW, Victor Menocal isn't on the team anymore either. Left right at the end of camp.

Hmmm....I wouldn't bet on that yet. He's practicing this week and is going to take a few snaps with the 2's. If he has a good week of practice, the staff isn't opposed to playing him and burning the redshirt.

I doubt he makes the practice squad. He didn't play enough because of the injury to earn a spot on that squad, IMO.
