It will be interesting to compare Graham vs Yates.
  5. GT +8.5 @ NC State

Nice win! I was impressed. There was no quit! Our team won by out-gritting and out-hustling the Wolfpack, and on their raucous, sellout home floor, too. This is a wonderful and promising start to the season, and I hope our team keeps it going throughout the rest of the year.
  6. Pitt Postgame

He might with a lot of constant tutoring. LOL
  7. Pitt Postgame

CGC is now 17-16 so far in only his third year as a head football coach. But he is learning a lot and gaining invaluable knowledge and experience every day, especially at an institute like Georgia Tech. Let’s see what he can do with four more years of additional recruiting and coaching.
  8. PH III wildcat/rugby package?

I say what the hail, go for it! Football is supposed to be fun! Too many stuffed conservative shirts around here. LOL

  10. Miami Postgame #GTvsMIA

Great win! Well deserved. I think Brent Key had a lot to do with the game prep and strategy for this game. The OL blocking was so much better today, and it came against a real tough run defense, too! A sweet team win, too. Hope the team keeps improving, one game at a time!

So, all the hype videos are nothing? OK.
  12. I have not seen any hype videos from any of the assistant coaches lately ...

Have you? Perhaps I’ve missed them, or just haven’t come across any lately. If there haven’t been any that came out recently, why? Has anything changed? Perhaps the assistant coaches simply have been too busy coaching since the season started, and that all of the hype videos they participated...
  13. Georgia Tech it is special

Great post, Colorado. I’m just like you, except I graduated from UGA in 1974.
  14. Apples and Oranges

Saban went 7-6 in his first year at Alabama.
  15. A Message our Players (Reposted from the other site.)

Over at Louisville, new Head Coach Scott Satterfield has the Cardinals at 4-2 so far this season. The Cardinals were only 2-10 last year. What a turn-around for a new coach! Also: Satterfield is currently in his 7th year as a head coach, and his record is 55-26.
  16. Willie Fritz and the spread option

I’m not sure I’m good with who we have at GT right now, but I’m willing to give him 5 years to see what kind of a trend line he can put on the graph.
  17. Fall Ball (2019)

Sounds like our pitchers are responding well to the new pitching coach.
  18. North Carolina Postgame

What has amazed me, more than any other single item since the season started, is the lack of drive blocking by the offensive line. On just about all running plays, our offensive linemen continue to zone-block out of an upright two-point stance. Although there is an occasional good run popped by...

On CBS Sports Network: Willie Fritz’s version of the spread option vs Jeff Monken’s version of the spread option.
  20. He did again today in the PC

Possibly. Might also help to let Brent Key take over as offensive coordinator for this week’s game, and see how it goes.
