To answer the OP’s question, I would think it would depend on how good the new coach would be for the goal of accomplishing the job at hand. On things like experience, knowledge, organizational skills, ability, demonstrated level of competence, etc.

Yes. He’s a stud. Make him the starter at quarterback, and keep calling some passing plays mixed in so he can gain experience and effectiveness in that area. In conclusion, he’s a stud of a horse!! The coaches need to play him at QB and support him through his growing pains.
