I may be late to this but has anyone ever seen 1000Musicians do anything? If not it’s quite a concept. I got bored though after watching a few videos. Listening to hundreds of singers on any song gets tiresome to me but like I said though it’s an interesting concept.

About 40 years ago I saw dozens and dozens of grand pianos on the stage at the same time at the Fox Theater in Atlanta playing classical music pieces. Seemed like they called it monster piano concert or something like that. Apparently it was a thing for a while.

Just finished listening to a couple of cuts of this classic song by Pink Floyd. IMPO, the best guitar solo in the history of rock, for its tonality, breadth, emotion, and precision. 1970’s psych rock at its absolute best.

Overlooked and underrated, this band embarrassed every act they opened for in their heyday.

Mahogany Rush! A regular at the old mid-70’s Alex Cooley’s Electric Ballroom. Great place to a sip a brewski and hear great up and coming rock bands. Over the years I heard Kansas, Rush, Tom Petty, Mother’s Finest, and many others in addition to great next-level bands like Mahogany Rush.

A friend has an hour of what he calls eclectic music each week as a DJ on WRGY radio in Maine. I have been putting a list of potential songs for him. This is one of them.
