Key looked mad about something at the end of the game. Didn't show up in the conference.

Any idea what it was or just very focused and trying to project to team to the end regardless of score?

To me...it looked like he was mad because Shelly wanted to return a punt but his blockers were kinda loafing...think he is trying to keep them focused

I noticed early in the game a player was back to block a punt. Our returner started running and the blocker just stood there and did not even try to block the tackler who made the play after a short return. Pissed me off too.

The runner was behind him, right? Not making an excuse, just looking for a plausible reason that wouldn't necessarily imply loafing.

Trelain Maddox is a big dude - he ran hard and was really taking it to the defenders. Scoota continues to flash big play ability - that combo looks like a bright future.

Butler also looked good at LB.

It was a great effort all around, especially on defense. I know it doesn't mean much against a team like VMI, but it's nice to see the team handle the game the way they're 'expected' to handle it.

A game with VMI should ideally be a tuneup game where a lot of players play and you really get to hammer to areas needing work. That said, it was good to see the vertical game working well yesterday. Maybe we worked some stuff out.

It was shocking to see the difference in speed between the two teams. I don't think they had Singleton covered on a single play. They couldn't run with our WRs.

VMI is a small military institute. They will fall far short of the athleticism of a program like GT. We play them for the tuneup. They play us for the payday. It’s a mutual thing. I make no comparisons between the two, but maybe that’s just me.

Ok dumb question, but it’s me, how do you shorten the game by 10 minutes ( 5 in the 3rd and 5 in the 4th ) and time of possession is 55 minutes not 50 minutes?
