At this point I think it's safe to assume MBob plans to offer the coach who wins the NCAA tourney. He did say he would hire the very best, right?
... April Fool's?
I was just trying to fit in with the strange sentiments that seem to be popping up here over the last 3 pages. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You're going to drive yourself crazy before this is all said and done if you're looking for us to handle the situation with an abundance of grace and class. That's just not the nature of the beast.
It's gonna be a madhouse and it's gonna repeat itself after the hire is made. Then we'll all settle in and root on the Jackets like always.
BKE..you got 10 mins left!My guess is that there is a press conference today at 10 or 10:30 AM to announce
I agree with you but I have a lot of concerns on your last statement. If Bobinski hires "the wrong candidate" according to our fans, people just won't show up. It is extremely important for the fan base to give any coach a chance or we can run into the endless loop of mediocrity.
I'm unrealistic but I think I should at least try

He (arguably) hired the wrong guy last time and folks showed up. Folks basically gave him a 3-year grace period. Some folks gave him excuses for the losing even into this year! We'll be here no matter who he hires (unless it's Seth Greenberg).
If no presser, does @bke1984 take a self-ban?
Place has been pretty empty since Hewitt left...

After all that has been, and will be said about future coaching, this makes the most sense. You're going to drive yourself crazy before this is all said and done if you're looking for us to handle the situation with an abundance of grace and class. That's just not the nature of the beast.

I don't have Soundcloud access at work and won't be able to listen for a little while. If anyone can give this a listen and get thoughts, it would be appreciated. Winston Neal is a former GT walk-on.
