Interesting that the guy with Collins referred to lighting up the Empire State Building in "black and gold." Obviously, it should have been "white and gold," but notice he didn't say "blue and gold"; he said "black and gold". Nobody thinks of blue when it comes to Tech......well, nobody except Tech marketing and some of y'all on these threads. I rest my case. LOL
Did you not read what I posted? My point was that the man substituted "black" for "white" and not "blue". I have ALWAYS thought that our colors should be White and Gold, with black as the secondary color, not blue.Obviously, it should have been "white and gold,"
Our colors ARE white and gold. It's right there in the fight song, "Up with the White and Gold".Did you not read what I posted? Assume a meme of bevis and butthead giggling is posted here.I sure hope his balls stay in. It’d be hard to play well otherwise.
USF doesn't know what will hit them on Saturday

I would be willing to bet that you would find more people by far in the US, and perhaps, sadly, even Georgia, who believe Tech's colors are black and gold. NOBODY I have ever run across thinks Tech is blue and anything. You can’t rest your case on the statement of someone completely ignorant on Tech traditions who thinks our official colors are black and gold.

Remember, the vast majority of people in this country today (unlike during the 50s) don't have a clue what Tech traditions are. I will gladly accept an improper display of tradition over none at all, or one that is totally wrong. My point stands
I’d be willing to be more people think that Tech’s colors are either yellow and black, or yellow and navy than white and goldI would be willing to bet that you would find more people by far in the US, and perhaps, sadly, even Georgia, who believe Tech's colors are black and gold. Probably so, although I think the majority would think black rather than navy.I’d be willing to be more people think that Tech’s colors are either yellow and black, or yellow and navy than white and gold
