This may be a duuuuuhhhhh statement but the trajectory of the ball is the best I’ve seen since Butker left - it gets up quick.

Don’t forget, guys, he kicked from a tee in high school. Takes a while for a true freshman kicker to get the hang (no pun intended) if kicking a football right off the ground in college.

The extra point kicker was like a pro golfer practicing short pitches. They all looked good and exactly the same. The kicks all were quick, straight, and high.

His mom and his high school teachert tailgate w us. He =has made a 54 yarder in hs, played soccer and was asked to come to hs football, & and is great student. We gave her this pic of his first pat.

I'm there too. I turned to my wife and said, "We have a placekicker named Wells?" It was much later before I got it that he wasn't kicking off too.

I wathey him warm up before the second half. From a stand he was very consistent from close in.

He made the only longer attempt at about 35 yards. It will be interesting seeing him attempt a FG in a game .

BTW I'm so jealous of Clemson's KO man. Puts it out of the end zone most times. That is the best coverage .
