I thought this thread was about Wells.
Didn’t know you were 60.Same reason it took two straight kickoff returns for a touchdown and a loss to realize the coverage team was too young.
Lack of detail and oversite. Hopefully its being fixed now. But paul imo got lazy and relied too much on his assistants. It happens when u are 60. Intensity goes down etc. u become a bit more lax.

Please tell me you’re joking. We need to process a couple of them.
Is this correct? Sounds like he only started kicking later in HS?

This is also an interesting write up. Sounds like his potential was still untapped at the time:

4.9 by any measure if phenomenal.Thanks. His Chris Sailer picture sure makes me feel old!
He probably has only been kicking since HS. His HUDL goes back to 2016 and he joined in 2014. https://www.hudl.com/profile/3756269/Wesley-Wells
A 4.9 means that he was in a school where AP classes get a 5 for an A I think. Nothing like grade inflation; but the kid can kick.
I see he was a QB; so he can also play QB and quick kick if needed. (cue Brad Stewart discussions).
It meant that he was not engaged in what was happening on the field. He was goofing off like someone who has no chance or ambition to go into the game. Not that it matters now. I doubt he could win the competition to go in now anyways. What do you mean?
Yeah, Tommy Wells for you old-timersI'm there too. I turned to my wife and said, "We have a placekicker named Wells?" It was much later before I got it that he wasn't kicking off too.
I agreeNot having to worry about a kicker for 4 years is awesome.
