Trajectory. I noticed this, too. The ball gets up high fast like Butker's PAT's. Not so much with our other kickers. I'm always worried they'll get blocked.
Good thing or bad thing?Time to process some folks

This is why I believe in playing backups at all positions when things aren't going well. Some guys can get it done on the practice field but cannot when it's real. Apparently the other two guys must have looked better at practice than this kid. Sometimes change will help you find the guys who may not look as good in drills but can get things done when the bullets are flying.
Pull scholarship for poor performance. May be a little premature for that. Wells still hasn't attempted a field goal. The only reason you haven't seen Wells earlier is because he was injured coming into camp. What’s this mean?

Ugags kicker is a stud too...I wathey him warm up before the second half. From a stand he was very consistent from close in.
He made the only longer attempt at about 35 yards. It will be interesting seeing him attempt a FG in a game .
BTW I'm so jealous of Clemson's KO man. Puts it out of the end zone most times. That is the best coverage .

Except punter! We get in seats early to watch him bomb the other team during warm ups."BTW I'm so jealous of Clemson's (KO man)"......or fill in with any other position in football .
Tech doesn't pull, nor has it ever pulled, a scholarship.Pull scholarship for poor performance. May be a little premature for that. Wells still hasn't attempted a field goal. The only reason you haven't seen Wells earlier is because he was injured coming into camp.

Sounds good, and I would like to think so, but it's impossible to know for sure if it's true. I'm sure Nick Saban would say he's never pulled anybody's scholarship either. The question was asked, and I answered.Tech doesn't pull, nor has it ever pulled, a scholarship.
Not renewing a kicker (King) scholarship
Sorry, as much as I emotionally agree with you, that's just never been the way Tech has done things, and I don't look for that to change now. If he doesn't want to kick, then I'm sure there are other things we could assign him to, and if he doesn't like that, then he can simply be encouraged to leave.True, but if a kid(and I’m not saying BK is) is not taking it seriously we should pull their scholly.
Actually, it IS possible to know if it's true. All you have to do is to look back over Tech's history, at least since Dodd, who absolutely refused ever to pull a scholarship.Sounds good, and I would like to think so, but it's impossible to know for sure if it's true. What do you mean? From a casual observer in the stands Saturday, it doesn’t appear that King cares if he kicks or not.
