I bet money on the game since nothing is guaranteed and talked trash the whole game through. A friend of mine (gagger) took the monopoly men +5 and I won it all off the carebears.
It was a good night.

Auburn is down 16 players. The part I hadn't really considered is how it can wipe out whole position groups.

"“We had two position groups where we did not have enough guys,” coach Gus Malzahn said Sunday night. He declined to say which positions."

"The Tigers haven’t practiced since Tuesday and canceled a planned scrimmage on Saturday. Malzahn said players will be tested Sundays and Thursdays."

To me this is the biggest concern in having a complete season. What happens when the QB “room” is quarantined? I understand that games can be rescheduled but there is a limit and I have seen nothing about what warrants a reschedule. Hopefully there is some standard that has been set that all schools understand

That’s actually the part that I’ve thought of the most, as position groups are likely to spend a lot of time around each other, and if one in the group tests positive/contracts the virus, it can spread quite easily to the rest/quarantine the entire group. A team couldn’t play without all of their RBs, or QBs, even if the quarantine is isolated to just those groups and the rest of the team otherwise unaffected.

Sneaky, sneaky Tobias Oliver is being held in reserve to come play QB by staying in the Corner’s room. That’s business continuity planning at its best!

ACC will test thrice weekly and require cardiac eval for positives

I heard on Mark Packer's show that one of the ADs (maybe Nebraska's but don't quote me on that) said that all of the AD's in the B1G are for playing.

Not surprising. ADs are vested in playing. Their positions wouldn't exist without games. All my kids would vote for milkshakes for dinner every night if I let them.

Nobody's getting fired in the Big10 despite having no games.
Maybe not, but the ADs are also responsible with balancing the finances for all sports programs at a school. We all know football is usually the biggest revenue source by far for an athletic program. So naturally ADs are going to want football and vote for such any way they can. And haven’t some BIG10 athletic departments already started cutting programs/teams?

I have not heard of a single football team in the Big10 cutting back yet. I would be extremely surprised if they did, considering they are looking at playing either later this year or after the turn of the year.

I’m not talking about football. I thought the discussion was on the votes of the ADs. ADs have to deal with all sports, not just football. So what AD in their right mind would vote against their biggest revenue generator? And Iowa has already cut 4 sports due to decreased projected revenues. So that decision in part had to come from the AD, no?

We’re on the football page, so I thought the entire discussion was around having the football season.

Other sports, I’d be surprised if they have not been cutting back on some of those since the summer.

That particular post was in reference to ADs’ decisions. And yes football factors massively into their decisions. The revenue from football drives almost every decision an AD makes. So what AD at a power 5 conference would vote against football, when losing that revenue could mean massive cuts needed, which likely will eventually spill over into the football program, and maybe even resources to pay the ADs themselves? I think it’s pretty logical that ADs would be resistant/not vote to cut off their gravy train.
