Just got the info on my seats.:poop: How do you go from section 105 row 9 (40 yard line) at bds to 102 (the endZone) row 51.

I marked the request for TN tickets when I ordered my season tickets. I got an email stating that TN tickets were available for my AT Fund level. I called a couple of days later and purchased 4. Upper end zone is all that was available for the extras at that point.

If they reserved Tenn tix for those in AT Fund, that should keep the UT/UGA poachers from getting access through our season tickets, right?

I was told that seat assignment was based on your seats at BDS since this is considered a home game.
The middle section tickets were reserved for suite ticket holders. There was a map on the Tech website that told where different sections at BDS would sit at the TN game.

They offered them in groups of priority points, but I don't know how far they got. They might have gotten all the way to zero point season ticket holders.

I knew about the suite taking the middle sections, but I was told that since I was on the 40 we would be in the middle (club) section. Plus there is no way that there are that many suite tickets holders to go from 20 to 20.

I don't have any inside info, but this is what it said on the GT site.

It appears that section 105 should be in the Lower End Zone, Mezzanine.

I guess if you sit in the snob seats & like me you've not racked up enough AT points you get shoved in the bottom corner of 105/115. I'd had rather have been in the mezzanine or near the 50 in the bottom portion of the upper deck if anyone had asked. Sitting 10ft off the field in the end zone are probably going to be crappy seats. Sorry GT/Falcons- calling sections 105/115 the "sideline" is BS.

How are so many people above an endzone?

BTW, gents. If you're bored, you have GOT to head over to Vol Nation and read their threads about this game. Great fun :) I would recommend not commenting. Just let them have their say, and then make sure to re-read the threads after the game.

Ahhh come on now. Join in on the conversation over at volnation nah haha I don't blame you. I've been a member there for a while and my post count is very low for how many years I've been a member. It's best just to enjoy football without all the excess chatter

Thanks for the reading tip @ilovetheoption. I have a *sucky* client, and this stuff is excellent distractionware.

E.g. one volnational is very worried about us running the counters:

"This will help a little. Problem is that our version of their offense and their version is night and day. They will run it much faster and execute it much better.
[true]
Defense can either play back or attack and both can be very effective with the right personnel. If I'm shoop and cbj, I attack this offense. I man and zone blitz 80% of the time. I leave gaps unmanned and overload ( post snap. never give it away presnap ) the area I think the run is going. If we guess wrong, the run could go for 60. If we guess right we get a stop for no gain and or possibly a fumble due to attacking the play and messing up the timing. If we play back, guys have to get off blocks and safeties have to be disciplined due to the amount of miss direction tech employs. Lb's have to be disciplined cause tech will not only unleash miss direction, they will start running counters.
[plan to leave gaps uncovered cannot fail; see UK]
A 3rd option is to play cover 0 and take away all the gaps in the run game. CB's, lb's, and safties better be able to cover the pass 1 on 1 if we employ this strategy. IMO, I play aggressive and play cover 0 most of the game. Do not play back in a 3 deep shell with no blitzing. I don't think we have the discipline to not bite on miss direction and counters, and i don't think we can consistently get off blocks and contain the run.
[realistic but, ok, @clintonlynchTV]
BE AGGRESSIVE! so what if you give up big runs. [lol] So what if you give up two or three big TD runs. [yeah, who cares] It's worth it for the amount of stops you get and potential TO's. If we play back, it will be a slow dreadful death. 400 plus rush yards and surrendering about 31 to 35 points. [so scared and confused]"

Just went to VolNation, so tempted to post but have held off so far. I found lots of gems, but here's a couple of particularly juicy ones:

What nobody has mentioned and scares me more than losing the game is the cut blocking they do and the resulting higher injury potential for our defense. Just thinking about it gives me cold sweats thinking about how we ended up last year with all the injuries.

Don't worry about the wn, worry about your knees.
